‘Safer Workplaces’ Module

Our generic module comprises five lessons, developed in conjunction with the EMA (Employers and Manufactures Association, Northern), and based on their popular Health and Safety Rep training programmes.

Set in an office/light manufacturing environment, this module provides an introduction to Health and Safety processes and procedures that, in principal, could be applied to most industries.

The five topics in this module are:

• Lesson 1: Promoting Health and Safety
• Lesson 2: Roles and Responsibilities
• Lesson 3: Risk and Hazard ID and Management (Hazard Management Cycle)
• Lesson 4: Ergonomics
• Lesson 5: Wellbeing
